Terms & Conditions

Please read through the Terms & Conditions/Liability Waiver agreement before registering for a retreat with Dragonfly Yoga Retreats.

DEPOSIT | PAYMENT 

 

INITIAL PLACEHOLDER DEPOSIT ($500/$750)

To reserve your spot on one of our retreats, please check to see whether we have a $500 or $750

placeholder deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and nontransferable. There will be a $35 non-

refundable processing fee per deposit. This deposit can be made via our site. Paying your deposit secures

your spot and retreat tuition.

PAYMENT

When you reserve, you will see that we typically offer a payment plan that includes a total of 3

payments spread out over a period. The first payment is the placeholder deposit ($500/$750), and the

last two payments being 50% of the remaining balance. Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive a

confirmation email. The payment dates and frequency will vary from retreat to retreat-please check your retreat

experience page for specific payment due dates.

Should you need a payment plan that differs from the one offered for your retreat, please reach out to

see how we might be able to work together. We will get creative with possible options for a payment

plan that is fitting and supports your needs.

You will receive a invoices for your second (50% due) and third (final balance) within 30 days before the due

dates listed on your chosen retreat experience. Credit card payments will have a 3% credit card fee added.

This is a cost  from our processer. Upon receiving your invoice, simply click the link “Pay Invoice” button and

you will be routed to a payment screen. Payments are due by date on your retreat experience. If the

deadline date is missed and you choose to cancel your reservation, Cancellation Policy applies.

 

We offer scholarships for some retreats whenever possible. Scholarship is a reduced retreat price.

Please feel free to reach out prior to reserving your spot to see if this might be an option for your chosen

retreat experience.

YOUR RETREAT PACKAGE

If a participant chooses to forgo any services included in the retreat package, they do so of their own

free will. There will be no discounts or refunds for services not used. This includes meals, 

accommodations, excursions, transportation, and any other package inclusions as listed on the chosen

retreat website page.

ROOMING OPTIONS

Each of our retreats will differ in terms of what room/accommodations are available (example;

single/private/double/triple, etc.). The “retreat pricing” section on your chosen retreat experience will

indicate what room options are available. As shared on in our FAQ section, if you prefer to share your

room, we will do our best to match you with a compatible roommate. If we are unable to do so, a

supplement will apply. We always do our best to match those wishing to share accommodations with

others. Often, we are successful in doing so. However, we cannot guarantee that a roommate (s) will

come forward. If you register for a shared space and no roommate arises, you as the guest will be

responsible for paying the supplemental amount due to mate your actual accommodation. We will

notify you 90 days prior to your retreat with options.

If group accommodations are listed as the registration type (example; double/triple/quad), please note

we must have a minimum of 4-7 participants who have selected group occupancy to offer this option.

Friends may room together upon request. Send an email to dragonflyretreatsgb@gmail.com after

registering to be paired with your friend (s).

CANCELLATION POLICY

The following Cancellation Policy allows Dragonfly Yoga Retreats to comply with it’s contacts with

vendors and in-country travel partners and covers the time and covers time and resources spent by

Dragonfly Yoga Retreats in preparing for and arranging a retreat.

If we need to cancel or reschedule:

We very rarely have to cancel a retreat. However, if we do cancel or reschedule a retreat trip due to low

registration numbers, unforeseen circumstances or similar, we provide a refund to you for payments made,

minus $50/$750 deposit and the $35 registration fee. We cannot compensate you for airfare or other travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event that Dragonfly Yoga Retreats cancel a retreat due to weather, natural disaster,

political instability, a national or global health crisis and other disturbances that are beyond our control, we

cannot guarantee a refund- that will depend on whether we receive refunds form our venue, vendors, and in-

country travel partners we work with. To cover all these risks, we HIGHLY recommend you consult with

your preferred travel insurance advisor. Choose the plan that best suits your travel needs. Dragonfly

Yoga Retreats reserves the right to cancel any Retreat or Activity, which in Dragonfly Yoga Retreat’s sole

discretion, is rendered unsafe or otherwise unavailable due to a Force of Nature or other event.

Depending on the Force of Nature, Dragonfly Yoga Retreats may allow the Retreat to continue with any

necessary modification. We also reserve the right to reschedule the retreat to a new date if our vendors

and partners allow. This will vary and be at Dragonfly Yoga Retreats discretion.

 

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations,

travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in your chosen retreat for any reason, the

cancellation policy described here will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate

participants for unforeseen circumstances (injury, illness, family, work, emergency, etc.), however, we

have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers, hotels, Airbnb’s, etc. To protect yourself

further, we highly recommend you to purchase travel insurance.

We may need to reschedule due to low enrollment per our vendor contract requirements. If so, we will refund

you for your full paid amount minus any losses we may incur due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control. It is in our best interest to refund you in this type of situation. We cannot be responsible for any losses

with airfare, transportation, or any other additional costs incurred during the planning of your trip.

If we reschedule the retreat, you will be provided the details and option to carry over your paid retreat tuition.

Costs may vary due to our vendors fees. 

If you need to cancel:

- Initial deposit of $500 or $750 and the $35 registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable. This

secures your spot and pricing.

-50% of payments are refundable up to 90 days before a retreat excluding the initial deposit of $500 or $750

plus the $35 registration fee.

-89 days prior to your chosen retreat experience, retreat cost is non-refundable and non-transferable.

- Dragonfly Yoga Retreats is not responsible for any loss incurred due to currency conversion rates.

-If you cancel your spot, you forego any refunds, available fund transfers, etc. should the retreat be rescheduled 

due to a named or not named event.

*Refundable amounts do not include applied credits/discounts. Your refund will be based on the tuition

locked in at the time of your registration.

You agree that joining a Dragonfly Yoga Retreat is your personal decision, and you are doing so with full

knowledge or travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regards to the risks of COVID-19 or other transmittable diseases. We assume no responsibility for and are not liable for an unsafe conditions or health

risks including pandemics or other illnesses. We have no special knowledge of possible dangers during travel

or at destinations. For information and recommendations related to such dangers, we recommend visiting

the State Department travel website at www.travel.state.gov, click “Find International travel Information,” then

click on “Country Information,” and fill in the name of the destination country for your chosen retreat

experience. For medical and health information, we recommend visiting the Centers for Disease Control

website at www.cdc.gov/travel, then click on “Destination” and scroll to the country destination.

 

If you wish to cancel your spot on your chosen retreat experience, you must submit your cancellation by

email to dragonflyretreatsgb@gmail.com.

TRAVEL/MEDICAL INSURANCE

Dragonfly Yoga Retreats cannot emphasize more the importance of trave and medical insurance.

As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family (birth, death, accidents, etc.), work,

other nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change

your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel/medical insurance policy and be

protected if you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip or

medically during.

Some travel insurance companies require you to obtain a policy within 5-10 days of paying your deposit.

You are free to obtain travel insurance from your provider of choice. Options are Allianz Travel

Insurance, Travelex, World Nomads, Trawick International and CSA Travel Insurance. These vendors are

not affiliated with Dragonfly Yoga Retreats but are simply suggestions.

Please note that if you choose not to purchase travel and/or medical insurance, you will be assuming

100% of any cost incurred for trip cancellation or trip interruption. Review the following carefully:

INJURIES/LOSS

You acknowledge and release Dragonfly Yoga Retreats of any injuries, accidents, death, or loses acquired before,

during, or after participating in your chosen retreat. You understand there can be risks in traveling and

participating in planned activities leading up to, during, or departing from a retreat.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY

I allow images or recordings to be taken of me and used for promotional purposes. 

GROUP SHUTTLES/FLIGHT WINDOWS

Most Dragonfly Yoga Retreats include group ground transportation to and from the retreat center. In

order to utilize these group shuttles, participants flights must fall within the flight window guidelines we

provide in our Participant Packet email.

If a participant chooses to forego this transport, books flights that do not coincide with our provided

flight windows, or arrives/departs from a different location than the provided pick-up and drop-off

point, the participant is responsible for arranging their own transportation and covering any associated

costs. In the event the actual arrival time does not coincide with our windows (such as a flight delay or

flight cancellation), participants will incur the expense or alternative transportation.

PETS

Dragonfly Yoga Retreats loves animals. However, we do not allow pets on our retreats. In case of a

certified service animal, arrangements may be made in accordance with venue policies.
